The Joods Historisch Museum is incredibly interesting and well-designed. The Portuguese Synagogue is worth the visit all by itself as it is a beautiful structure that remains entirely intact and is lit by candlelight. As many Dutch Jews died in the Holocaust, this museum is a moving testament to the role of Jews in Dutch history and learning about Judaism.
